During Thursday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Tony Khan said that he is interested in speaking with former WWE star Zelina Vega.
Khan said that he thought that Vega (real name Thea Trinidad) was still under WWE’s 90-day non-compete so he was waiting on that to expire. Her non-compete expired sometime last week. WWE announced her release in November after she tweeted her support for unionization in wrestling but company sources indicated that her release was due to her continuing to continue with her Twitch channel and the launch of her OnlyFans account. WWE has mandated that their talent are no longer allowed to maintain accounts on sites like Twitch and Cameo.
Khan said that he would like to speak with her after the Women’s Title eliminator tournament.
Vega was praised for her promo work when she was in WWE. She wrestled during her last couple of her months with the company after splitting from Andrade.
