AEW Rampage draws 740,000 viewers for premiere episode

The live viewership numbers for AEW Rampage are in and the show did solid total viewership and viewers in the 18-49 demographic.

Rampage drew 740,000 viewers and a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm EST time slot. Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics reported the news. Here’s the rest of the viewership breakdown for the show:

The episode featured Kenny Omega vs. Christian Cage for the Impact World Championship, Miro vs. Fuego Del Sol for the TNT Championship, and Dr. Britt Baker, DMD vs. Red Velvet for the AEW Women’s World Championship

This was the first episode of the show that had the commentary team of Taz, Excalibur, Chris Jericho, and Mark Henry.

Next week’s show could be monumental as it takes place from Chicago, Illinois at the United Center. Several weeks ago, it was reported that CM Punk had been in talks with the promotion about an in-ring return.

The promotion sold out the United Center, which has been speculated about being the place where Punk makes his debut.
