Welcome to our live coverage of AEW Rampage, which is emanating from The Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Announced for tonight’s show, Claudio Castagnoli will defend his ROH world championship against Dustin Rhodes, we will get exclusive footage from CM Punk following his championship loss, Wardlow will defend his TNT championship against Ryan Nemeth, Sammy Guevara will team up with Tay Melo to take on Ruby Soho and Ortiz, and The House Of Black will battle Dark Order in a trios tag team championship tournament match. 

Match 1: Dark Order vs The House Of Black

– The match starts off with Brody King and 10, Buddy then takes down Silver with a headlock takeover, Malakai then attempts a sidekick to the face of Reynolds but Renolds moves out of the way, all six men then brawl as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Malakai hit a back elbow to the face of Reynolds, 10 then hits a spinebuster on Malakai, 10 then locks in a full Nelson on Malakai, 10 then closelines Brody to the outside, Malakai then takes off the knee brace from 10’s knee, Malakai then locks 10 in a kneebar but Miro interrupts, Miro takes out 10 and Reynold, allowing Reynolds to roll up Malakai to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall: Dark Order at 9:04.

– After the match, The House Of Black beat down Miro, Malakai then hits a sidekick to the face of Miro, The House Of Black then continue to beat down Miro but Darby Allin and Sting make the save, causing The House Of Black to retreat.

Match 2: TNT championship: Wardlow (c) vs Ryan Nemeth

– The match starts off with Wardlow hitting a headbutt on Ryan, Wardlow then hits three powerbombs on Ryan to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall and STILL TNT champion: Wardlow 

Match 3: Powerhouse Hobbs vs Ashton Day

– The match starts off with Hobbs hitting a closeline on Day, Hobbs then hits a spinebuster on Day to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall: Powerhouse Hobbs at 1:01.

– After the match, we see that Ricky Starks has been jumped from behind backstage, QT Marshall then punches Starks in the face with a punch loaded with a stopwatch. 

Match 4: Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo vs Ortiz and Ruby Soho

– The match starts off with Soho and Melo, Melo then stomps on the elbow of Soho, Soho then lands a series of shoulder tackles on Tay in the corner, Ruby then hits a stiff elbow strike to the face of Melo, Ortiz then hits two closelines on Sammy, Ortiz then slams Soho into Sammy with a splash, Tay then grabs onto Ortiz, allowing Sammy to hit a boot to the face of Ortiz as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Ortiz hit a closeline on Sammy, Soho then lands a series of punches to the face of Melo, followed by a sidesuplex, Ruby then hits a poisonrana on Sammy, Ruby then hits the no future on Melo, Anna Jay then attacks Ruby behind the referee’s back, Anna then sends Ruby into the steel steps as Guevara hits a springboard cutter on Ortiz to secure the pinfall victory.

Winners via pinfall: Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo at 9:41.

Match 5: ROH world championship: Claudio Castagnoli vs Dustin Rhodes

– The match starts off with both men locking up, Dustin then hits a shoulder tackle on Claudio,  followed by an armdrag, Claudio then locks Dustin in a headlock, Claudio then hits an uppercut on Dustin, Dustin then hits a big boot on Claudio to secure a one count, Dustin is then sent to the outside as we go back to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Claudio lock Dustin in a crossface, both men then exchange a series of forearms and punches in the ring, Dustin then closelines Claudio to the outside, followed by a running cannonball onto Claudio to the outside, Dustin then hits a hurricarana on Claudio, Dustin then a code red on Claudio to secure a nearfall, Claudio then swings Dustin around in the ring to secure a nearfall, Claudio then locks Dustin in yet another crossface, Dustin then hits a powerslam on Claudio, Claudio then hits an uppercut on Dustin to secure the pinfall victory. 

Winner via pinfall and STILL ROH world champion: Claudio Castagnoli at 12:28.
