Welcome to our live coverage of AEW Rampage, which is emanating from The NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Announced for tonight’s show, “Hangman” Adam Page will team up with John Silver and Alex Reynolds to take on Orange Cassidy and The Best Friends in a trios tag team championship tournament match, Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo will team up to take on Ortiz and Ruby Soho, QT Marshall will take on Ricky Starks, also, Athena and Jade Cargill will have a sit-down interview just two nights before they clash at All Out. 

Match 1: The Best Friends and Orange Cassidy vs Adam Page, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds

– The match starts off with Page and Cassidy, Danhausen then gets into the ring to put a curse on Page, Best Friends then go under Silver and Reynolds to hug, Page then saves Silver from a tower of doom powerbomb, Cassidy then lands a series of “kicks” to the shin of Page, Cassidy then hits a superkick on Silver, Trent then hits a tornado DDT on Reynolds, Cassidy then attempts to pin Silver as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Page launch Reynolds into The Best Friends on the outside, Page then catches Cassidy in midair for a fallaway slam, The Best Friends then chokeslam Page through the timekeeper’s table, Reynolds then hits a stiff haymarker to the face of Cassidy to secure a nearfall, Cassidy then hits the stun dog millionaire on Silver, followed by the beach break to secure a nearfall, Cassidy then hits a splash onto Silver from the shoulders of The Best Friends to secure a nearfall, Trent then hits a german suplex on Page from the top rope but Page lands on his feet, Page then hits the deadeye on Cassidy, Taylor then hits an avalanche piledriver on Silver, Cassidy then hits the orange punch on Page, Silver then rolls up Taylor to secure the pinfall victory. 

Winners via pinfall: John Silver, Alex Reynolds, and Adam Page at 11:13.

– We get a video package hyping up Tomohiro Ishii vs Eddie Kingston at All Out. 

Match 2: Fenix vs Blake Christian 

– The match starts off with Christian hitting a spinning heel kick to the face of Fenix, followed by a dropkick, Fenix then hits an armdrag on Christian, Fenix then slaps the chest of Christian, Christian then hits a running corkscrew onto Fenix on the outside, Fenix then hits a superkick to the face of Christian, Fenix then hits a piledriver on Christian to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall: Fenix at 2:22.

Match 3: Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo vs Ortiz and Ruby Soho 

– The match starts off with Ortiz and Guevara, Ortiz then chops Sammy in the chest, followed by a series of punches to the back of Sammy, Ortiz then rakes the back of Guevara, Ruby then kicks Ortiz as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Sammy land a series of shoulder tackles into the stomach of Ortiz in the corner, Ortiz then hits a powerslam on Sammy, Ruby then lands a series of headbutts to the head of Tay, Ortiz then slams Ruby into Guevara, Ruby then headbutts Sammy, Ruby then rolls up Tay to secure the pinfall victory.

Winners via pinfall: Ruby Soho and Ortiz at 7:41. 

– Mark Henry hosts down a sit-down interview with Athena and Jade Cargill, Jade says thar Athena should of lost weeks ago, Jade says that she’s tired of ungrateful bitches thinking they deserve shots, Jade says that Athena should just be called number 37. 

– FTR and Wardlow make their entrance, Dax says that he felt worthless at one point in his career, but 2022 happened and all of the fans happened, Dax says thar their momentum turned around, Dax says that the match at All Out means alot to him because every match they have goes to his legacy, The Motor City Machine Guns then interrupt with Satnam Singh and Jay Lethal, Sabin says they represent the best city, Detroit, Shelley says that they have the respect of the locker room and fans, Lethal asks Dax if he’s going to fight like his eight year old spoiled brat. 

Match 4: Ricky Starks vs QT Marshall 

– Before the match, QT attempts to get his team out of a locked closet but Starks attacks him from behind, both men then brawl in the crowd, Starks then hits a double axehandle onto QT in the crowd, Starks then hits a bigback bodydrop on QT on the outside.

– The match starts off with Starks landing a series of punches on QT in the corner as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Starks hit a superplex from the top rope on QT, QT then hits a springboard enziguri on Starks, Starks then hits a belly-to-belly suplex on QT, Starks then hits a tornado DDT on QT, The Factory then distract the referee as Nick Comoroto hands QT a watch, QT then tries to roll up Starks while using the ropes but the referee catches him, QT then catches Starks in midair with a diamond cutter to secure a nearfall, Starks then hits a spear on QT, followed by the roshambo to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall: Ricky Starks at 7:04.

– After the match, Powerhouse Hobbs brawls with Starks in the ring, both men then have to be separated by referee’s.

– Bryan Danielson comes out to stare down Chris Jericho on the ramp as Rampage goes off the air.
