AEW is reportedly continuing to bolster its women’s division with the addition of international talent Lena Kross. The company has seemingly beaten out competition from TNA Wrestling to secure her signature.
Fightful Select Reports Kross Is Moving To Florida
According to a report from Fightful Select, Kross has either already signed with AEW or is in the process of finalizing her deal. The report states that it was “intimated” to Fightful that Kross is currently making a move to Florida, a common location for professional wrestlers based in the United States.
Kross began her career in 2017, primarily wrestling in Australia before transitioning to the United States independent scene in 2022. In addition to her work in the US, she has toured Japan with the Sendai Girls promotion annually since 2022, gaining international experience.
TNA Wrestling Was Interested In Signing Kross
TNA Wrestling reportedly had significant interest in signing Kross earlier this year. She competed at the July 24 TNA television tapings, where she teamed with Rosemary in a losing effort against Harley Hudson and Myla Grace for an episode of Xplosion.
Despite TNA’s interest, Kross appeared on AEW programming shortly after her TNA debut. She faced Kris Statlander on the July 31 episode of Collision. Following that appearance, she wrestled in a dark match for Ring of Honor on September 11, taking on Lacey Lane.
AEW Continues To Add Talent In 2025
The reported signing of Kross marks another addition to the AEW roster in 2025. The company has been active in recruiting talent for its women’s division throughout the year.
AEW has also recently brought in names such as Megan Bayne, Mina Shirakawa, Alex Windsor, Thekla, and Lacey Lane. These signings signal a continued effort to expand the depth of the division across AEW and ROH programming.
