The Buy In

Kris Statlander vs. Leyla Hirsch

Hirsch won the match by hitting Statlander with a turnbuckle leg that was under the ring. This happened as the referee was distracted. After the match, Red Velvet ran out to check on Statlander. This was a good opener.

Tony Schiavone introduced a special guest. Kenny Omega's music played but it was Don Callis who walked out to the ring and fans chanted "shut the f**k up" at him. Callis said Kenny gave 5-star matches while injured and Callis blames the fans for sucking the blood out of Kenny. Callis said he was disgusted by some of the violence being advertised for tonight and he expects The Young Bucks to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Callis said if Kenny was here tonight, he would be winning the World Title tonight but he is confident in Adam Cole becoming a transitional champion and holding it until Kenny returns.

HOOK vs. QT Marshall

HOOK won this won with the Redrum submission. This was HOOK's longest math to date and he sold more than usual.

House Of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews) vs. Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro & Erick Redbeard)

PAC and Black started the match. They tagged out after a brief exchange and then it was Matthews and Penta in the ring. A brawl broke out outside of the ring as King and Redbeard battled in the ring. There was a lot of craziness in this match, especially from Penta. There was a great back and forth between King and Redbeard late in the match that included King doing a tope suicida through the ropes onto Redbeard at ringside. Very late in the match, Black took a package piledriver on the ring apron from Penta. Penta went for the cover but Buddy Matthews was the legal man and he hit a curb stomp on Penta but PAC broke up the pin attempt. Redbeard was pinned by Black after taking the mist to the face and everyone's finisher. Excellent match.

They ran down the main card and Jim Ross was introduced.

Main Card

Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston

Kingston started out by immediately executing the half and half suplex as soon as the bell rang. Kingston followed up with a neck breaker and pin attempt and chops to the chest but Jericho was able to kick Kingston and mount his own offense around the ringside area. Back in the ring, both men traded chops to the chest. Kingston poked the eyes and hit a DDT into a near fall.

Jericho punched Kingston in the corner and then he hit a hurricanrana off the top rope. Kingston came back with an exploder suplex but Jericho hit a suplex off the ring apron to the floor. Back in the ring, Kingston ducked the Judas Effect but Jericho came back with three consecutive German suplexes and the Lionsault. That was almost enough for Jericho to win the match but Kingston kicked out. Kingston came back with a lariat but Jericho was able to fight back and lock in the Walls of Jericho but Kingston was able to grab the bottom rope to break the hold. Jericho got into an argument with Aubrey Edwards but that gave Kingston time to recover so he could hit a pair of Saito suplexes and a spinning back fist but Jericho barely kicked out of the pin attempt. Kingston tried a Northern Lights Bomb but his back gave out and Jericho hit the codebreaker, Kingston kicked out.

Jericho hit another suplex and codebreaker. Kingston ducked the Judas Effect, he hit a pair of back fists and then locked Jericho in the stretch plum submission to make Jericho tap out. Jericho refused to shake Eddie's hand after the match.

AEW World Tag Team Championship
Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus (Champions) vs. reDRagon vs. Young Bucks

Jungle Boy and Kyle O'Reilly started the match. Jungle Boy also had a nice sequence with Nick Jackson before tagging out to Luchasaurus. The first dive to the outside was by Jungle Boy onto The Young Bucks and reDRagon. There was tension early in the match when Nick Jackson broke up a pin attempt by Kyle O'Reilly. The announcers mentioned that The Bucks and reDRagon had an agreement and Nick felt that Kyle was breaking it.

Kyle accidentally hit Matt in the face with a boot as things continued to deteriorate between both teams. Luchasaurus tagged in and took out both teams with an offensive flurry. Luchasaurus caught Nick by the throat on the top rope but Nick turned it around into a Canadian Destroyer. Luchasaurus was back up and chokeslammed both Bucks and reDRagon. Jungle Boy followed up with a Doomsday Device on Matt. Matt accidentally kicked Bobby Fish in the head. Finally, reDRagon and The Young Bucks fought. Then there was a triple clothesline spot that took out Matt Jackson, Jungle Boy and Kyle O'Reilly.

Moments later, O'Reilly locked in the kneebar and Fish hit a diving headbutt but Matt Jackson broke things up with an elbow drop off the top. Nick Jackson was back in with knee strikes. Luchasaurus slammed Nick off the top rope and O'Reilly hit locked in a guillotine but Jungle Boy hit a shooting star press off the top and Nick Jackson hit a 450 to break up the pin attempt. Incredible match.

O'Reilly hit Jungle Boy with the title but Jungle Boy kicked out of the pin attempt. reDRagon hit the high low, Fish went for the pin but Luchasaurus broke it up. Kyle took a pair of superkicks and Nick wiped out Luchasaurus with an Escalera on the floor. The Bucks hit the BTE Trigger on Jungle Boy but O'Reilly broke up the count and Matt got upset with him. Jungle Boy popped up and hit a German suplex and Luchasaurus took out reDRagon at ringside. Jungle Boy won the match after the Thurassic Express finisher.

Face of the Revolution Ladder Match for a future TNT Title shot
Keith Lee vs. Wardlow vs. Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Ricky Starks vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Christian Cage

Dan Lambert and ATT were shown watching this match from their skybox. Cage was the first to use a ladder and he used it to take out several competitors around ringside. Starks was the first to try to climb the ladder to grab the ring hanging overhead.

The first ladder spot was Chrisitan giving the reverse DDT to Hobbs. Keith Lee did an impressive leapfrog/crossbody spot on both Christian and Starks. Lee tried to climb the ladder but Wardlow stopped him and Hobbs took them both out with a ladder. Hobbs and Starks raced up the ladder but were knocked down by Cassidy. Did a helicopter spot with the ladder to take out several wrestlers but both Lee and Warlodw picked up the ladder and OC managed to get on top of it and he almost grabbed the ring.

Hobbs did an impressive superplex spot with a ladder assist from the top turnbuckle. Christian speared and drove Hobbs into a ladder bridge. Starks did a crazy spear through a ladder and on Christian to set himself up so he could climb up but Wardlow knocked him off. A second ladder was set up and all three big men climbed up and battled for position as the smaller guys climbed up the side of the ladders. Most of the guys were knocked off except for Wardlow and Hobbs, who battled it out before falling off. Wardlow took a nasty spill in the ring but seemed to be okay.

Lee took OC and lalunched him onto Starks and Cassidy at ringside. Wardlow cleared the ring and instead of climbing the ladder, he went to ringside to brawl with Lee and Hobbs. Those three men brawled up towards the stage area. Hobbs and Wardlow went to grab a ladder and they literally pulled it apart. Wardlow shoved Lee and Hobbs off the announcers podium and off the stage and through tables. Back in the ring, Danhausen appeared to knock Starks off the ladder. Starks got back in and pulled Christian off the ladder and Wardlow powerbombed Christian. Wardlow leaped on a ladder to catch up to Starks. Wardlow powerbombed Starks onto a ladder bridge. Wardlow grabbed the ring to earn his title shot.

"Swerve" Shane Strickland signed his AEW contract.

AEW TBS Championship
Jade Cargill (Champion) vs. Tay Conti

Blues guitarist Christone "Kingfish" Ingram did a live rendition of Jade's entrance. Jade started out by kissing Tay on the lips to shock her. Jade tried to hit the Jaded finisher but Tay slipped out of it.

Tay hit a flurry of kicks to the face in the corner and she took out Mark Sterling with a dive off the top. Jade took out Anna Jay with a pump kick to the face as retaliation. Jay hit Jade with a chair to the face and that was almost enough for Tay to win the match but Jade kicked out. Jade fought back and hit the Eye of the Storm and Tay kicked out of the pin attempt.

Jade hit a frog splash, Tay kicked out again. Tay took over on offense with a kick to the face, thanks to a distraction from Anna Jay. Tay hit a piledriver and Jade kicked out. Tay tried a move off the top rope, Jade caught up to her and knocked her head into the post. Jade hit Jaded and pinned Tay to retain.

Dog Collar Match
CM Punk vs. MJF

Punk's music played first but it was a swerve and MJF came out to the ring and that caused fans to boo him. Punk walked out to his old ROH theme and attire.

Punk was the first to use the chain by tying it around the ring post and leveraging it to drive MJF into the corner. JR called MJF a disingenuous d*ck. Punk punched MJF in head several times but MJF was able to escape the onslaught in the corner and he followed up with a power bomb and pin attempt.

Punk fought back with body strikes and a knee strike but MJF yanked the chain to pull Punk in mid-air. MJF used the chair to bust Punk's head open and he was bleeding buckets. MJF grabbed the "f*cking mic" and told "old timer" Punk to tell the people that he doesn't care and he should quit. Punk said "ear sh*t Max."

Punk yanked MJF off the second rope and the camera showed Punk's face covered in blood. Punk wrapped the chain around MJF's neck before executing a running bulldog move. Punk then whipped MJF across the back with the chain. MJF turned things around and he put Punk in a sleeper hold. MJF had trouble with his right hand because Punk stomped it earlier with his foot and chain. MJF locked in an armbar but Punk countered into the Anaconda Vice but MJF rolled into a pin attempt. MJF went for the heatseeker but Punk slipped out of it.

Punk wrapped some of the chain around his knee so he could hit MJF with a Shining Wizard knee strike to the head but that move knocked MJF out of the ring. The knee strike caused MJF to get busted open. Punk punched MJF several times in the head and drove him into the steel steps. Punk went for another knee to the head but he crashed into the steps as MJF moved out of the way. This would cause Punk issues for the rest of the match.

MJF tried a tombstone on the ring apron but Punk countered and hit his own tombstone piledriver but that also hurt Punk's knees. Punk went for an elbow drop off the top but MJF moved. MJF poured thumbtacks in the ring. He hit Punk with a knee strike to the head. He went for a running bulldog but Punk bit his hand. MJF fought with forearms strikes and Punk almost fell in the tacks but Punk countered and went for a brainbuster but the bad knee gave out. MJF hit some more elbow strikes, Punk with a roundhouse kick. Punk went for the Pepsi Plunge but MJF slipped out. MJF then superplexed Punk into the tacks.

MJF called for Wardlow to come out to help him. MJF asked for the Dynamite Diamond ring but Wardlow didn't have it. Punk hit the GTS and MJF fell into the tacks. Wardlow then realized that the ring was in the right pocket and he left it on the ring apron for Punk to grab. As Warlow left, the fans cheered, Punk put on the ring, MJF spit in Punk's face and Punk nailed him in the face. Punk got the pin and the win.

AEW Women's World Championship
Dr. Britt Baker, DMD (Champion) vs. Thunder Rosa

The Women's Title was swapped out for a new design. It was back and forth for the first couple of minutes. Baker tried for Lock-Jaw early but Rosa quickly countered out of it. Rosa followed up with a back breaker and knees to the head. Baker hit a neck breaker in the corner. Baker followed up with knee strikes to the head.

Rebel and Jamie Hayter attacked Rosa as Baker distracted the referee. Baker continued on offense with shots across the jaw but Rosa fought back with a German suplex and clotheslines and a dropkick across the back. Rosa hit a running stomp and a Northern Lights suplex, followed by a pin attempt. Baker came back with an Air Raid crash and pin attempt.

Baker hit a pendulum suplex but Rosa fought back with punches to the body. Baker hit a butterfly suplex into a pin attempt. Baker put on the glove to set up Lock Jaw but Rosa hit a running dropkick and running uppercut. Rosa followed up with a super plex and a fireman's carry into a neck breaker, followed by a sliding lariat. Baker hit a ripcord forearm and neckbreaker. Rosa kicked out of a pin attempt. Both women exchanged forearm punches to the head and Britt countered into the Lock Jaw but Rosa slipped out. There was a series of pin attempts from both women and then Rosa dropped Baker on the back of her head. Britt hit an avalanche Air Raid crash off the second rope but Rosa kicked out of the pin attempt.

Rosa went for a tombstone but Britt reversed, Rosa rolled through and almost pinned Britt. Rosa hit the tombstone piledriver. She went for the pin but Rebel distracted the referee. Baker rolled up Rosa, she kicked out. Rosa rolled up Britt and she kicked out. As the ref tended to Rebel, Baker curbed stomped Rosa on the belt but Rosa kicked out of the pin attempt. Baker tried the Lock Jaw but Rosa countered into her own Lock Jaw. Britt rolled up Rosa, Rosa kicked out and applied the half straight jacket submission. Baker tapped out but Rebel distracted the ref again and Rosa speared Rebel through to the floor. Rosa also took out Hayter. Rosa ran in the ring and took the curb stomp and Baker pinned her to retain the title.

Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley

They started out with some grappling. Both men tried to out maneuver each other and they fell out to the floor. They beat the hell out of each other with chops, forearms, punches, stomps and slaps to the face.

Mox his kicks to the chest and Danielson countered with a dragon screw leg whip and his own kicks to the chest. Danielson worked over Mox's ribs with punches and kicks. He followed up with stiff kicks, punches and forearms in the corner of the ring. Mox came back with chops but Danielson kicked the ribs. Danielson was on offense for several minutes.

Mox hit a pair of Saito suplexes but Danielson took control again with a guillotine. Mox was able to pick him up and slam him but Mox's ribs were bothering him. Mox landed several punches but Danielson continued with the kicks to the ribs. The match spilled out to the ring when Danielson went for a dive and Mox caught up. A hockey fight ensued at ringside. Both men busted each other open.

Danielson hit a rolling elbow strike, Mox came back with a King Kong Lariat and Mox's face was covered in blood. Danielson hit a super back plex off the top, followed by a pin attempt and then several elbows to the side of the head and the Dragon sleeper that wasn't fully locked in because of the blood. Mox locked in a sleeper but Danielson reversed into the Dragon, Mox reversed and hit several elbows to the neck and head. Mox locked in a sleeper and an arm breaker. Danielson slipped out and locked in a crossface/Lebell Lock. Mox crawled to the bottom rope to break the hold. Both men kicked each other back and forth, Mox got the advantage and stomped Bryan. Mox locked in the bulldog choke. Danielson broke free and hit the running knee, Mox kicked out of the pin attempt.

Danielson followed up with stomps to the head and the triangle sleeper with elbows to the head. Bryan continued with the elbows and punches, Mox rolled through and pinned Danielson while Danielson still had the hold applied. Danielson argued with the referee after the match. They continued fighting after the match and security ran out to break them apart. William Regal walked out, slapped both men and made them shake hands.

Six-Man Tornado Trios Match
A.H.F.O. (Andrade El Ídolo, Matt Hardy, and Isiah Kassidy) vs. Darby Allin, Sting and Sammy Guevara

The match started with Darby running into the ring and taking out Andrade and everyone else brawled around ringside. With help from Sting, Darby took out Jose the Assistant by diving on him as Jose was forced to wear a trash can over his head.

Meanwhile, Andrade picked up and dropped Sammy over the barricade but Sammy and Darby teamed up to take out Andrade. Sting used a trash can on Matt and Isiah. Sammy hit the springboard double-jump into the cutter on Isiah. Craziness ensued with a bunch of things happening at the same time in and around the ring.

Marq Quen got involved by taking out Sammy with a chair but Sammy sent him over the barricade. Private Party did the silly strung to Guevara at ringside as Sting battled with Matt in the crowd. The Butcher and The Blade went out to help take out Darby and Sting while Isiah and Sammy battled on top of the the set by the stage. Sammy hit the Spanish Fly and both men crashed through tables on the stage...brutal.

Sting tried to fight off The Butcher and The Blade but he was outnumbered and Matt Hardy brought Sting up to an upper level in the middle of the fans. Matt tried to hit a side effect off the upper level and through tables that were set up below but Sting broke free. Sting then hit a splash off the upper level and onto Andrade and they crashed through a bucnh of tables. Insane spot. Back in the ring, Matt used a chair to Darby's back. Darby countered out of the Twist of Hate. Darby hit the Scorpion Death Drop on the steel chair and the coffin drop to get the pin.

AEW World Championship
"Hangman" Adam Page (Champion) vs. Adam Cole

Page got the first major bit of offense on Cole with forearms and chops and stiff lariats. Cole tried to take a break outside but Page followed him with a dropkick through the ropes but Cole turned things around when he ran Page into the steel steps.

They continued back and forth until Page hit the fallaway slam. Cole escaped to the outside and Page followed up with a springboard into a lariat. Page then powerbombed Cole on the ring apron. Page then followed up with the Orihara moonsault. Cole hit a backstabber but Page fought back with a Liger bomb. Page tried a move off the top but Cole slipped out, Page hit a mule kick and then he went for a moonsault but Cole caught Page with a kick the face. Cole went for the pin, Page kicked out.

Cole set up for the superkick but Page moved and hit the Deadeye, Cole kicked out of the pin attempt. Cole and Page traded punches and forearms. Page hit several palm strikes, Cole hit a pump kick, Page with the rolling elbow strike. Cole applied a crossface but Page made it to the bottom rope. There was a move sequence that led to Page hitting the tombstone piledriver. Late in the match, reDRagon ran out to ringside. Cole hit the Panama Sunrise on the floor but that wasn't enough to keep Page down for the count.

Cole tried the Panama Sunrise again in the ring but Page broke free but Cole hit a low blow and the Sunrise as the refwas distracted. Cole hit the running knee but Page kicked out. Cole hit consecutive kicks to the head but Page hit the lariat. Page went for the Buckshot Lariat but Cole hit several superkicks and Page collapsed. Fish and O'Reilly set up a table at ringside but it was Page who put Cole through it with the Deadeye. The Dark Order ran out to check on Page. A brawl broke out between reDRagon and Dark Order. They brawled to the back as Page hit the Buckshot Lariat to Cole in the ring. Page went for the pin but Cole got his hand under the bottom rope.

Page tied Cole to the ropes. Page hit several kicks but Cole hit a kick as Page charged at him. Cole freed himself but Page hit another kick, a running kick to the head and the Buckshot Lariat. Page pinned Cole to win the match. Cole was completely knocked out but Page grabbed his arm and shook his hand.
