AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla vs. Kris Statlander in a two out of three falls match took place at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view event from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night.
After going back and forth, Thekla rolled her up for the first fall. Back in the ring after a quick brawl, Statlander got on the offense and beat her down. Statlander tied things up with her finisher. The referee was taken out and Thekla took the belt from the referee, who was laid out on the floor. They whipped each other with it, but Kris had the advantage. Kris hit her finisher, but there was no referee. There was outside interference by the Sisters of Sin for Thekla. The referee got back into the ring and Thekla hit a spear then the stomp followed by another stomp for the win.
Winner: Thekla
