New Japan Pro Wrestling has removed Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Trent Beretta, and Chucky T from their roster page on their website.
All of those names are now with All Elite Wrestling. As of this morning, Kenny Omega (who is also with AEW) and Chris Jericho are still listed on the website.
If NJPW and AEW can work out a deal then they would be able to trade talent. It seems like that will eventually happen but there are no signs of a deal being made anytime soon and it’s a tricky situation because NJPW already has a working relationship with Ring Of Honor.
Chris Jericho’s AEW deal allows him to continue working with AEW.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that New Japan was not happy about AEW taking Trent Barreta away from them.
