AEW star Andrade El Idolo underwent pectoral surgery

Best wishes to Andrade El Idolo as he recovers from pectoral surgery.

Andrade said on his Instagram account that this is his first surgery and it happened because he tore his pectoral muscle a few months ago.

Andrade said that when the tear happened, he wanted to finish his match and he kept working because he loves the business. There was no timetable given for a return to the ring. Andrade has been out of action since September.

Andrade also included a clip from the 8/17 Dynamite with the Trios match featuring himself, Rush, and Dragon Lee against The Elite so that apparently is when the injury occurred.

Here is his statement on the surgery:

“My first surgery I can’t believe it happened. A few months ago, I tore my pectoral muscle.

Thanks god! I could and wanted to finish my match. I kept working because I love the business but we know that many people do not value your effort, these days off I took the opportunity to go to Dr.”
