AEW Star Deactivates X Account

AEW’s Penelope Ford has unexpectedly deactivated her X account for unknown reasons, even as she is already sidelined with a serious ankle injury, raising concerns among fans about her current status.

Ford suffered an ankle injury during the February 25 episode of Dynamite after a mistimed moonsault to the floor. The injury was initially feared to be a break before being confirmed as a serious sprain. AEW President Tony Khan later stated Ford could be out for weeks or even months as a result. The deactivation of her X account comes with no public explanation, adding to the uncertainty surrounding her situation.

Ford, 33, whose real name is Olivia Kippen, began her professional wrestling career in 2014 after training at the CZW Dojo following a background in gymnastics and cheerleading. She gained experience on the independent scene through promotions including Combat Zone Wrestling and Women Superstars Uncensored before joining AEW. She initially appeared in the promotion as a valet for Joey Janela before managing future husband Kip Sabian, and has since evolved into a featured in-ring performer.

Her current role is as one half of MegaBad alongside Megan Bayne, a pairing that has built significant momentum in the AEW women’s tag team division. The Divine Dominion, also consisting of Bayne and Lena Kross, recently won a match on the AEW Collision Slam Dunk special.

No update on Ford’s recovery timeline or the reason behind the X account deactivation has been provided. We wish her a speedy recovery.
