Dax Harwood of FTR has confirmed that he suffered a severely broken nose during this week’s AEW Dynamite September to Remember event, but he has vowed that the injury will not prevent him from competing this Saturday at AEW All Out. In a post made to his social media, Harwood gave an update on his condition.
The injury occurred during a segment that saw FTR (Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and the team of Adam Copeland & Christian Cage brawl in the ring. The segment ended with Harwood visibly bleeding from his nose after being run out of the ring by his All Out opponents. Despite the severity of the injury, Harwood sent a message to his opponents, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, making it clear he has no intention of missing their scheduled tag team match.
“I had an X-Ray today. To the shock of no one, I have a severely broken nose…..Unfortunately for Christian & Copeland, I’ll still be there. No way I’m missing out on this match. I’m going to embarrass you,” Harwood wrote on X.
AEW President Tony Khan recently announced that this encounter will be the opening match of the pay-per-view. Harwood and his partner Cash Wheeler have created a reputation as one of the toughest tag teams in professional wrestling, known for their physical style that pays homage to the tag teams of the 1980s.
