AEW star dealing with an injury

AEW’s Eddie Kingston has been sidelined with an injury and won’t be appearing as scheduled at NJPW Collision in Philadelphia.

New Japan Pro wrestling has announced Kingston will be replaced by fellow AEW star Orange Cassidy at the show in a singles match against Gabriel Kidd.

It’s unclear what the exact injury is. This past Wednesday on Dynamite, Cassidy retained the AEW International Championship against Buddy Matthews. Cassidy vs. Kidd will be for the International Title.

NJPW holds the first night of Capital Collision this Saturday in Washington, DC, before going to Philly for Sunday’s show. Both events will air as pay-per-views on FITE TV. Saturday’s show is available for $19.99, Sunday’s for $14.99, or both as a bundle for $29.99.
