AEW star issues statement on being pulled from Dynamite match due to COVID-19 concerns

AEW's Scorpio Sky has commented on being pulled at the last minute from working a scheduled match.
Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite was supposed to feature Sky taking on Shawn Spears in a singles match, which was postponed because Sky was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
They had been feuding on AEW Dark in recent weeks. AEW had to come up with a replacement bout, which was The Young Bucks vs. Private Party.

Sky took to his official Twitter account to issue the following statement on his status:
“I want to thank those who reached out in concern and let you know I am okay! Once I found out I had come in contact with someone who might have Covid-19 I immediately notified the AEW medical staff and got tested. It was negative. 1/2
At that point I went out and got myself tested elsewhere to be sure and it was again negative. The person I was in contact with was also tested and the results were negative. So the important thing is I am in good health and eager to get back to work. 2/2.”
