Josh Alexander has successfully undergone knee surgery and is on the road to recovery, with his wife Jade Chung confirming the operation went well and Alexander himself responding with humor. They used a filter on Alexander’s face.
Chung shared a photo of the couple following the procedure and confirmed the surgery was a success. Alexander added his own commentary to the update. “I lived,” Alexander wrote. “And I’m beautiful.”
Alexander had been forced to withdraw from the ROH x MLP Global Wars show after revealing he needed knee surgery, relinquishing his active duties while holding the MLP Canadian Championship. The announcement came as a blow, given his position as a prominent member of The Don Callis Family in AEW, where he has been a key part of the faction’s storylines.
The former multiple-time TNA World Champion signed with AEW and has been one of the more celebrated additions to the Don Callis Family stable alongside Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis.
No timetable has been provided for Alexander’s return to in-ring action. We wish him a speedy recovery.
