Mercedes Martinez is on the sidelines.
While speaking with the media on Thursday to promote Sunday’s All Out pay-per-view event, AEW President Tony Khan noted that the ROH Women’s Champion is currently out of action with an injury.
Khan didn’t reveal the nature of the issue was not disclosed nor how long she will be out of action.
After being let go by WWE, Martinez signed with AEW in February when she made her promotional debut on an episode of Dynamite, where she lost to Thunder Rosa.
She later won the Interim ROH Women’s Title before beating Deonna Purrazzo for the Women’s Title in May.
She hasn’t wrestled since July 24th for a match at NEW Zero Fear. Her last match for AEW/ROH was when she retained the title over Serena Deeb at Death Before Dishonor on July 23rd.
