AEW Star Provides Update After Successful Surgery

AEW’s Harley Cameron has provided an update on her status after being off television with a nose injury since late May. In a recent social media post, Cameron showed her post-surgery look, complete with bandages on her face.

Despite the visible signs of her procedure, she sent a clear message about her future intentions.

“Well I can’t see much right now… but REVENGE is starting to look really good…” Cameron wrote.

Cameron last competed on the May 28th episode of AEW Dynamite, where she and Anna Jay lost to Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford in a No Disqualification match.

A report from Fightful Select has since shed more light on the situation, noting that the injury is legitimate but was sustained before the Dynamite match. According to the report, Cameron wanted to work the match to provide a storyline explanation for her necessary time away from the ring for surgery and recovery. AEW officials reportedly agreed to the idea, allowing her to incorporate the real-life injury into her on-screen character’s journey.

There is currently no timetable for her return. We wish her a speedy recovery.
