AEW Star Says His Retirement Plans Are In Motion

AEW has a deep roster with ages ranging from wrestlers who are still green with little experience to veterans who have been around for decades.

The tag team division has been strong since the promotion launched in 2019, with FTR being one of the core tag teams on the roster. However, Dax Harwood knows that he can’t wrestle forever.

Harwood has wrestled for two decades now, including a successful run in WWE as The Revival alongside his longtime tag team partner Cash Wheeler. While speaking in Instagram Live Q&A, Harwood noted he plans to open a wrestling school once he’s done wrestling.

Harwood said, “So, my plans after being done in the ring are already in motion. I don’t know how much I can tell ya. But I can tell ya that there’s already a ring, there’s already a building, there’s already equipment and the idea is to obviously open a wrestling school with three of my friends. I’ll just leave it at that and you know, hopefully that will allow people to live a 20-year dream just like I did.”

Harwood didn’t provide any further details on his planned wrestling school, although it’s likely Wheeler could help him run it. FTR didn’t have a match lined up yet for Dynamite, Collision or All Out.
