AEW Star Says She’s Frustrated About Losing All The Time: “What The F**k Do I Have To Do? Show My T*ts?”

AEW star Thunder Rosa has candidly expressed significant frustration with her current standing and consistent losses within the company, openly questioning her path forward and what it takes to become a champion again. On her recent vlog, Rosa spoke about an upcoming championship opportunity and her feelings of being unable to break through, before reiterating a challenge for a high-stakes match against her nemesis, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Detailing her mindset, Rosa mentioned being called in last minute for a four-way elimination championship match but lacked confidence in the outcome. “I would lie to you if I say that I’m gonna win. I’m gonna try, but I don’t know,” she admitted. “Things are very like somber for me right now. It’s just like, there’s a lot of things that I want… You guys make me believe that I should be a champion. But it doesn’t matter what I do, I still can’t reach. Like I can’t get a hold of that, you know, and it just becoming very frustrating.”

The former AEW Women’s World Champion elaborated on the toll the persistent losses have taken on her. “Just losing, losing, losing, like, makes you really, like, somber and sad and question yourself. And I’ve been questioning myself a lot lately, straight up,” Rosa revealed. “I want to be a champion, but everybody else is telling me that I don’t have what it takes to be a champion.”

Rosa then posed a provocative question about what more she could possibly do to get noticed or achieve her goals: “Yeah, I’m just like, okay, then what the fuck do I have to do? Show my tits?”

Pivoting from her current booking frustrations, Thunder Rosa then discussed a challenge she recently laid out on “Busted Open Radio.” “Busted open was fun. I threw a challenge. Hair versus hair, against my my nemesis Britt Baker,” she confirmed on her vlog.

“And the reason why I’m doing it is, one, because I know there’s money on the table,” Rosa stated, before adding a more personal reason, “but two, she’s bonded by blood with me. She cannot get rid of my name no matter what happens (laughs). And that gives me a lot of pleasure.”

The “bonded by blood” comment clearly alludes to their historic and violent Unsanctioned Lights Out match in March 2021, which was a landmark moment in AEW and for women’s wrestling, lauded for its intensity and brutality. Click below to watch the entire vlog.
