AEW has been without a few of its stars who are regularly used on television due to injury.
The Bang Bang Gang has been a core element of AEW’s product, mostly being used on Collision. While Jay White has remained on television, Juice Robinson is sidelined with an injury, and The Gunns are nowhere to be found.
Billy Gunn’s sons first showed up in AEW alongside their father in 2020, when they were later signed to deals. White is set to challenge for the AEW World Championship in a fatal 4-way match at Worlds End on December 28.
Austin and Colten Gunn last competed on a September episode of Collision. This is where they got a trios victory with Robinson over The Cage of Agony.
Fightful Select reports that Austin is on the shelf with an injury. The nature of his injury hasn’t been disclosed yet. Colten is cleared to compete, but it appears that AEW is keeping him off of television until his brother is healthy.
