AEW Star Sidelined With An Injury?

One AEW star may have a knee injury after not working a match in several weeks.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted he was sent a photo of Bian Cage with him holding his knee. He was supposed to work the Chris Bey tribute show last weekend. He was also planned for a match at the AEW Dynasty PPV on April 5th.

Meltzer said, “I don’t know this, but all signs lead me to believe that Brian Cage has any injury. Have you heard that? Okay, I had gotten…Thursday night, I got an email from someone who I don’t know, and just with a photo of Brian Cage holding his knee and was wrestling Chris Masters. I don’t even know the city. I don’t know that this is true, so I probably shouldn’t be saying, but he did miss the Chris Bey show. He was supposed to wrestle Rich Swan. Archer, and Brian Cage were, I believe, slotted for this pay-per-view against the Hurt Business. And now, all of a sudden, it’s like out of nowhere. It’s Big Bill and Brian Keith. So you got to do a makeshift thing.”

Cage hasn’t wrestled since March 20th at an independent show. Take this for what it’s worth for now.
