Whenever a wrestler undergoes the knife, it delays things, whether that be what the promotion has planned for the wrestler or the star missing time from the spotlight inside of the squared circle.
AEW/ROH faces that issue now that one of its top star will be sidelined for the next several weeks after getting a hernia surgically fixed.
As previously reported, Eddie Kingston announced during Sunday’s ROH TV tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, that he would be undergoing hernia surgery this Tuesday. Kingston told the fans that he expects to return in six weeks.
The top AEW/ROH star hasn’t worked a match since losing to ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli on March 31 at the Supercard of Honor pay-per-view.
As seen below, Kingston confirmed that he underwent surgery to fix the issue. We wish him a speedy recovery.
