AEW Star Undergoes Surgery

La Facción Ingobernable (LFI) is currently dealing with a series of medical setbacks, as Dralístico has officially undergone surgery. The masked star revealed on Wednesday that he was preparing for the procedure to fix an issue with his ear.

Taking to social media, Dralístico shared a photo from the hospital with a brief caption. “The day has arrived. 🚑🏥 #AEW,” he wrote.

According to reports, the injury is not new. Bryan Alvarez addressed the situation last month, noting that Dralístico had been trying to compete despite the damage in hopes of securing a more permanent spot on television.

“Dralistico suffered injuries to his ear in two different matches,” Alvarez reported. “He also worked through it since he was hoping to get regular work on the main roster, but eventually it became too painful and he was told he’d need surgery to fix it.”

Dralístico has not wrestled since the October 29 episode of Collision. In that match, he teamed with LFI stablemates Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos in a losing effort against Komander, Roderick Strong, and Mark Briscoe.

This surgery adds to the faction’s injury woes. Dralístico’s brother and stablemate, Rush, is also currently out of action. Rush had been working through knee injuries for years, but is now expected to undergo surgery as well. As a result of his condition, Rush and Sammy Guevara were forced to vacate the ROH World Tag Team Championships, and Rush was removed from the lineup for Final Battle.
