AEW Star Was Looking To Leave The Company Months Ago

AEW is known to have a huge roster full of very talented wrestlers, but not everyone can be used due to lack of television time.

Ethan Page is no longer with the promotion, something fans noticed to be the case when his profile was removed from AEW’s website. He started taking independent bookings in March of this year, indicating he knew he may be on his way out of the company.

Before signing with AEW, he had been a regular star on Impact Wrestling TV where he found success alongside Josh Alexander as a member of The North. He made his AEW debut as the surprise sixth entrant in the Face of the Revolution ladder match at the 2021 Revolution PPV event that also featured Scorpio Sky, Cody Rhodes, Penta El Zero Miedo, Lance Archer, and Max Caster.

Since then, he’d been paired with Scorpio Sky and with the tag team being managed by Dan Lambert. He was primarily being used on the ROH shows in recent months.

Fightful reports Page was looking to leave AEW as far back as February. Although he was slated for an ROH TV Title feud with Kyle Fletcher, things changed due to him having visa issues, causing plans to be delayed.
