There are a lot of names in the wrestling world becoming free agents with some opting to sign new deals and stay where they are and others testing the waters to see if they can get better opportunities elsewhere.
Fightful Select is reporting that All Elite Wrestling is hoping to re-sign Rey Fenix. Fenix’s deal expires sometime within the next few months. There’s no word on where things stand but he has reportedly had offers extended to him. Fightful adds that it’s expected that he will have offers from WWE.
As was previously reported, Fenix’s tag team partner Penta El Zero Miedo’s deal is also up soon and it’s expected that WWE will also have interest in him. So far, there is no word on how his contract talks are going. Obviously, it would be big for WWE to sign both of them especially as they look to expand their footprint in Latin American countries but Tony Khan’s AEW is making good offers to a lot of talent so there’s no guarantee that they will be going anywhere.
