The first match has been set for AEW’s next pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing.

During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT, AEW held the semi-finals of the AEW TNT Title tournament that featured Cody Rhodes vs. Darby Allin and Dustin Rhodes vs. Lance Archer.

Archer beat Dustin in the headliner while earlier in the night Cody beat Allin. Now, Archer and Cody will meet in the finals of the tournament at Double or Nothing.

AEW originally scheduled to hold their Double or Nothing pay-per-view event on May 23rd in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. That was changed when Las Vegas was placed on lockdown and the strip was closed. Thus, holding the event there is not possible.

Just last week, Dave Meltzer noted in an update on F4Wonline.com that the current plan is for the show to air from Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place.

As of this writing, no other matches for the show have been announced. That will change soon.

All Elite Wrestling is planning to resume holding TV tapings for Dynamite and Dark on May 6th, which will feature the build-up to various programs taking place at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.
