It turns out that AEW also wanted to do a similar theme to another popular WCW show.

AEW will air the January 15 episode of Dynamite on TNT at the Watsco Center at the University of Miami for a Bash at the Beach themed episode.

This is part of “Bash at the Beach,” a nine-day experience for superfans that features two Dynamite shows and a cruise onboard Chris Jericho’s party ship.

Many fans think there are similarities between AEW and WCW as Dynamite airs on WCW’s former home of TNT, Tony Schiavone is one of the announcers, and now they will have the ownership rights to Bash at the Beach.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there was a plan at one point to run a spring break show at Club La Vela in Panama City, Florida.

For those who may not remember, Club La Vela was home to several episodes of Nitro, during Spring Break over the years. However, the club is currently closed due to damage from both a hurricane and a fire.

Thus, those plans have been nixed. During the Jericho cruise, AEW will tape an episode of Dynamite on January 22 and air it the following night on TNT.
