The challenges of taping programming for their weekly TV shows – Dynamite and Dark – continue for AEW due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The original plan for AEW was to tape matches every Wednesday for both shows with them wanting to run on a week-by-week basis from Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place.
The taping location was changed earlier this week to a location in Norcross, Georgia. Now, a shelter-in-place order signed by Governor Brian Kemp was issued in the state.
This comes after he stated his findings that asymptomatic people can transmit COVID-19.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that AEW taped a lot of future content for their programs this past week in Georgia.
This will allow the promotion to regather and plan their next move while airing footage that was already filmed. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on where the next set of tapings will or where take place.
