AEW Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw kicks off tonight, ex-WWE stars in action

All Elite Wrestling has confirmed the premiere date for its Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw.

The tournament starts tonight and will air on AEW’s YouTube channel.

AEW had already announced Brandi Rhodes and Allie and the team of Nyla Rose and Ariane Andrew, aka former WWE Superstar Cameron for the tournament. There’s still not a ton of details on the tournament, but we do know the first match, which will air on the broadcast tonight.

Anna Jay will team with former WWE NXT star Taynara Conti against Andrew and Rose. During Chris Jericho’s “Saturday Night Special” on Facebook this past weekend, the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion revealed this match.

Jericho also revealed that Diamante and Ivelisse will be teaming in the tournament.

Brandi Rhodes tweeted out the following to hype the bout and tournament, “Here you go gallery. Chat it up and tune in TONIGHT 7/6CT @AEWrestling YouTube !!!”

No other matches have been confirmed for the tournament. As noted, AEW sees this being an annual tournament, but only if it gets support from the fans.
