AEW Worlds End 2025 Preview: Full Match Card And Start Time

AEW is set to close out 2025 with its Worlds End pay-per-view event tonight, live from the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The show will feature the conclusion of the Continental Classic tournament and a four-way match for the AEW World Championship.

World Championship Main Event

In the night’s main event, Samoa Joe will defend the AEW World Championship against Hangman Adam Page, Swerve Strickland, and MJF. The match was originally scheduled as a three-way contest, but MJF was added to the bout at Holiday Bash after cashing in his Casino Gauntlet contract. Joe, who defeated MJF for the title at Worlds End 2023, faces a field of former champions.

Continental Classic Conclusion

The Continental Classic tournament will conclude tonight with both the semifinal and final rounds taking place. In the first semifinal, Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada will face IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita. The second semifinal sees Kyle Fletcher take on Jon Moxley. The winners of these two matches will compete later in the evening to determine the 2025 Continental Classic winner.

Championship Matches

Kris Statlander is set to defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Jamie Hayter. This marks Hayter’s first one-on-one world title opportunity since losing the belt in 2023.

The AEW World Tag Team Championships will be on the line in a Chicago Street Fight as FTR defends against the Bang Bang Gang. Additionally, the Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) will defend the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships against the team of Mercedes Moné and Athena.

Undercard And Pre-Show

Other featured matches include Darby Allin facing Gabe Kidd in a grudge match, and a “Mixed Nuts Mayhem” match pitting The Death Riders (Marina Shafir, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli) against Timeless Toni Storm and The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Mark Briscoe).

The Zero Hour pre-show begins at 7 p.m. ET on YouTube.  Following tonight’s pay-per-view, AEW will travel to the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha, Nebraska, for a special New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite on Wednesday, December 31.
