AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) vs. Mercedes Mone and Athena took place at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event from Chicago, Illinois.
It was a quick start to this one with everyone doing dives to the floor. Willow speared Athena as she carried Cameron. After the challengers beat down Cameron, Willow got the hot tag and cleaned house. Athena with a german suplex to Willow then hit a powerslam that didn’t connect all the way for 2. Willow with a powerbomb in the corner then Harley with a crossbody off the top rope then a dual powerslam for 2. Athena hit Carmeron with a stunner out of a counter then tagged in Mone, who put Willow in a crossface. Willow with a driver to Mone for 2 as Athena accidentally hit Mone with a splash as she tried to break things up. Willow with a clothesline then went to the top rope and Mone hit a superplex to her then a splash as Cameron broke up the pin attempt with two. Willow rolled up Mone as Mone went for the mone maker for the win.
