Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd took place at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event from Chicago, Illinois.
It was a fast-paced match. Kidd pushed Allin off the top rope onto the apron then Kidd splashed into the barricade and Allin hit an outside dive. Kidd sent him face-first through the steel steps. Allin was bleeding as a result. Kidd was now bleeding. Allin with a code red off the middle rope for 2. Allin with a coffin drop, but Kidd rolled out to the floor. Allin with a coffin drop off the top rope and to the floor. Back in the ring, Allin hit a reverse DDT then the scorpion death lock before Allin slumped forward and Kidd got out then Kidd headbutted him. Kidd with a clothesline then a jumping piledriver for 2. Kidd had him in a sleeper and Allin rolled through for the pin.
Winner: Allin
