AEW Wrestler To Become A Free Agent At Midnight

Lady Frost is set to become a free agent at midnight on April 1 when her AEW contract expires, with Fightful Select confirming the news and reporting that multiple companies are already interested in signing her.

Fightful noted that this outcome had been planned for quite a while and was simply reiterated as the date approached. The report added that interest from other companies is already in place, suggesting Lady Frost’s post-AEW future may be determined quickly.

She made her professional wrestling debut in a WWE match on the March 26, 2018 episode of Raw, losing to Asuka under the ring name Jamie Frost. She then built her career extensively on the independent circuit before earning opportunities with several promotions.

Her AEW run included appearances on Dark, Dynamite, and Collision, where she received two TBS Championship opportunities, challenging Kris Statlander in June 2023 and Julia Hart in November of that year. She also competed for ROH as part of AEW’s sister promotion. Beyond AEW, Frost had a notable run in TNA Wrestling from 2021 to 2022, competing in the Knockouts division and being the first entrant in the inaugural Knockouts Ultimate X match at Hard to Kill.

She also had two separate stints with CMLL in Mexico, reaching the final of the 2022 CMLL International Women’s Gran Prix and winning the Copa Bicentenario tournament with Dalys la Caribeña. In 2025, she reached the finals of a tournament for the vacant CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championship. She has also competed for NWA.

Lady Frost is the granddaughter of professional wrestling veteran Tony Marino. She has yet to comment on her departure.
