Ivelisse’s most recent match with AEW came on the February 17th edition of Dark. Up to that point, she’s been teaming with Diamante.
It was reported earlier this month by Dave Meltzer that she had an issue with a few coaches in the company. Meltzer wrote, “the story was there was an issue with her and ‘a few’ coaches and she’s not being booked right now, but it’s not like she’s been let go either at this point.”
Fightful Select provided an update on the situation today by noting Ivelisse has not been at AEW tapings of late. They reached out to her a few weeks ago and she told them that she was still with AEW.
The media outlet also reached out to various talent as far back as March 20th and they said “that they didn’t expect Ivelisse to return to AEW as she had well-known disagreements with agents backstage.” It should be noted there was no context given to the nature of the disagreement.
With Ivelisse on the sidelines, All Elite Wrestling has booked Diamante as a singles star.
It should be noted that Ivelisse tweeted the following today: “History repeats itself unfortunately. I speak up about mistreatment and get let go. That’s life.”
As it stands right now, AEW has yet to confirm her departure.
History repeats itself unfortunately. I speak up about mistreatment and get let go. Thats life.
