AEW has announced that AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 will take place in London, UK, on Sunday, August 24, at The O2 Arena.
This marks the fourth annual joint pay-per-view between All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling and the first time the event will be held outside of the United States. Tony Khan made the announcement early Tuesday morning during an appearance on BBC London News.
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Adam Copeland, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, Will Ospreay, AEW Women’s Champion Timeless Toni Storm, and AEW International Champion Kenny Omega are advertised for the show.
Additionally, AEW will debut in Glasgow, Scotland, with AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision tapings on the same night at the OVO Hydro on Wednesday, August 20. Tickets for both Forbidden Door and the Dynamite/Collision taping will go on sale Friday, May 2.
