Samoa Joe, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata vs. Jeff Cobb, Chris Jericho and Big Bill took place at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2024 pay-per-view event on Sunday night from the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY.
The heels beat down Hook in the early going. The babyfaces got going with them hitting a series of back splashes. Shibata put Cobb in an armbar only for Bill to break it up with an elbow drop. Jericho went for a lionsault only for Shibata to put his knees up. Hook with a double slege off the top rope to the floor to Cobb. Jericho with a low blow to Shibata, but the referee did not see it and put him in the walls. Bill with a chokeslam to Joe before things broke down in the ring. Hook with a german to Cobb before Jericho hit Hook with a codebreaker for 2. Hook with judas effect to Jericho for the win.
