Jon Moxley was not the only person who was hurt during AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
As seen below, Adam Cole suffered an apparent ankle/foot injury as he was running to the ring during the final minutes of the World Title match between MJF and Samoa Joe. You can see in the video that he hurt himself as he jumped off the entrance ramp to the floor at ringside. Cole limped to the back after the show. Bryan Alvarez noted on X/Twitter that Cole was on his way to the hospital. Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious.
As for Moxley, the belief is that he suffered a concussion on the package powerbomb spot during his match with Rey Fenix. Moxley took the move and didn’t kick out when he was supposed to and it looked like they had to change the finish because he was not able to continue with the match.
Moxley was able to walk under his own power and was checked on by the trainers. His wife Renee Paquette, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Orange Cassidy were backstage with Moxley after the match. Best wishes to him on a speedy recovery.
