AEW’s Anna Jay Addresses Online Rumors: ‘The Only Thing Out Of Everything That’s Been Posted That’s True Is That My Contract Is Coming Up’

Anna Jay has addressed speculation about her AEW future, confirming that her contract is up for renewal while dismissing most of what has been circulating online as inaccurate.

Speaking on her Twitch stream, Jay acknowledged the reports circulating before identifying what she believes is the source of the misinformation.

“A lot of stuff going on online that you guys have been seeing. A lot of it is not true. I guess, allegedly, the source was someone I used to work with, and he no longer is working for me as of a few months ago.

So I don’t know exactly if that’s true or not, but it apparently came from him. The only thing out of everything that’s been posted that’s true is that my contract is coming up. But that is it. Not a big deal. I mean, everything else that you guys have seen, it’s pretty much BS,” Jay said.

Jay has been largely absent from AEW television in recent months, having not wrestled since November 2025 and not appearing on Dynamite since June 2025. Her return has been announced for this weekend’s episode of AEW Collision, where she will challenge Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship. Nightingale has been operating under the Comeback Killer nickname, built around a streak of victories against returning talent, which sets up a natural dynamic for Jay’s first match back.
