Jeff Hardy is slated to go to court next week.
The AEW star is slated to appear in court for a pre-trial hearing on Wednesday, December 21, after his original hearing was pushed back multiple times at the request of his attorneys.
Hardy was arrested this past June and charged with DUI (Alcohol or Drugs), third offense within ten years, driving while license canceled/suspended/revoked, and violation of restrictions placed on driver’s license.
The primary charge under Florida law is a felony and is punishable by up to five years in prison, should Hardy be convicted, while the others would fall under misdemeanors. He has pleaded not guilty.
Hardy filed a written plea of “not guilty” on June 28, and on August 10, Hardy waived a right to a speedy trial.
Jeff has been off AEW TV since the arrest as he went to rehab as a requirement set by AEW President Tony Khan. Since then, Matt Hardy has returned to television and continues to update his brother’s current status during his podcast.
