Jon Moxley won’t be working the upcoming Wrestling REVOLVER’s Heat Em Up event after all.
The top AEW star was slated to work the August 3rd event, but in a video message today on social media, he announced that he wouldn’t be wrestling at the show “due to circumstances beyond our control.”
Instead, Konosuke Takeshita was named as his replacement. Moxley praised him for being one of the greatest wrestlers in the world. As of this writing, it’s unclear exactly why Moxley won’t be appearing at the show.
It’s possible it has something to do with his next AEW match as on Wednesday’s Dynamite. In an Anything Goes Match, he will meet Trent Beretta and Penta El Zero Miedo.
