AEW’s MJF files to trademark “Reign Of Terror”

AEW World Champion MJF has filed to trademark the term “Reign Of Terror.”

Michael E. Dockins filed it on the behalf of MJF on December 1 for merchandising purposes. Here is the description:

“Mark For: REIGN OF TERROR™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.”

The term referred to Triple H during MJF’s promo last week on AEW Dynamite, where he stated that his Reign Of Terror had just begun. He later attacked William Regal as a way to write him off television as Regal is reportedly returning to WWE.

The Reign of Terror was a past reference to Triple H’s time as the face of WWE in the early 2000s during the Ruthless Aggression Era. “The Game” was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion on Monday Night Raw, with his heel stable, Evolution, helping him retain the title repeatedly.
