AEW President, CEO, and General Manager Tony Khan recently appeared on the “Frank Walk” show to promote this Saturday’s AEW All Out pay-per-view. During the interview, Khan declared that 2025 has been the company’s best year to date, discussed the new partnership that will bring AEW pay-per-views to HBO Max, and provided details on the upcoming event in Toronto.
“The Best Year Ever”
Khan expressed his satisfaction with the state of All Elite Wrestling in 2025, citing consistency across the company’s television programs and pay-per-view events as a key factor in its success.
“AEW is having our best year ever in 2025,” Khan stated. “I think the quality of the shows this year, Frank, has been the best it’s ever been… Hitting the quality of our pay-per-views is the best it’s ever been. I think to me, the pay-per-views this year, every one has been excellent.” He specifically mentioned the steady performance of AEW Dynamite on TBS on Wednesdays and the addition of AEW Collision on TNT on Saturdays. “This year, I think both shows, week in, week out, is the most consistent we’ve ever been.”
A New Era on HBO Max
A significant development for the company is the expansion of its partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery to include pay-per-view events on the HBO Max streaming service.
“This weekend marks a huge milestone for us, because when we started, we never dreamed HBO Max would be the home for our shows for pay-per-views, and our first pay-per-view ever on HBO Max is this weekend,” he said.
AEW All Out Preview
Khan provided details for the seventh annual All Out event, which is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 20, with a special afternoon start time. The event will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
“It’s going to be packed, and it’s going to be the biggest crowd for All Out ever,” Khan said. The broadcast will begin with the “Tailgate Brawl” pre-show at 2 p.m. ET, which will air for free on TNT. The main card will follow at 3 p.m. ET and will be available for purchase on HBO Max and traditional pay-per-view platforms. Click here for complete details on the card and how to watch the PPV.
Continuing a Wrestling Tradition
Khan also spoke about AEW’s presence on TBS and TNT, networks with a long and storied history of broadcasting professional wrestling. He views AEW as the modern continuation of that legacy.
“There’s a great history of pro wrestling on TBS and TNT,” he stated. “It’s really cool that wrestling on TBS and TNT goes back to the 1970s. It’s a great American tradition.”
