Since AEW Rampage will air live this Friday night from St. Louis, there were no matches taped for that show last night after Dynamite.

However, the fans were treated to a bonus segment featuring Bryan Danielson and he poked fun at an infamous segment from 2010 that led to him being fired from WWE in 2010.

Shortly after the Nexus debuted on Monday Night Raw, they were booked to destroy the ringside area and to attack John Cena. As part of the angle, Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan at the time) took Justin Roberts' necktie and choked him with it and Roberts did a good job selling it to put over the angle.

Vince McMahon had an edict that wrestlers were not allowed to use certain chokeholds because of the Chris Benoit murder-suicide and Danielson was fired but was eventually brought back a few months later.

After last night's Dynamite, Danielson and Justin Roberts recreated the infamous scene to pop the fans in Missouri. You can check out a clip of the segment below and you will notice Tony Khan standing with his back turned.

In related Danielson news, he will face Miro at AEW Full Gear in the finals of the World Title Eliminator Tournament.
