An AEW title is getting a new look tonight on Dynamite

The finished design of the AEW TNT Title will be unveiled tonight on Dynamite.

The delay in the process of getting the original title design done was due to the COVID-19 pandemic as the inaugural champion was crowned at Double or Nothing when Cody Rhodes beat Lance Archer.

Rhodes is slated to defend the championship against Scorpio Sky on the show. Rhodes first confirmed the new title design was going to be revealed on August 12th in a tweet in July.

He recently confirmed it again during a sit-down interview with Tony Schiavone.

“You will see it tomorrow night on Dynamite. The finished…’Little Ruth’ here, will be replaced. What a wonderful run in a short span of time throughout the pandemic and these shows we’ve been putting on. It will be very difficult to get this one away from me.”

Dan Beltzer gave some details on the new design when he wrote in a recent tweet, “Heard the new TNT belt looks much better. Dual plated and nugget texturing. TNT logo is no longer black.”
