Last night before AEW Dynamite went on the air, Tony Khan tweeted that the match between Andrade El Idolo and PAC would not be taking place at All Out this Sunday night. Khan said that the match was postponed due to travel issues and would be rescheduled for a later date.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that before Khan made the announcement, he heard that one of the matches would be scrapped from the show but the reason he heard was similar to what he heard about Sasha Banks.
Meltzer said, “Andrade and PAC is off the pay-per-view. They are going to do the match on TV soon. They said it’s travel issues. I think it’s the same issue as Sasha Banks because that was certainly the word that I got. Yesterday, I was told that there was a match on the pay-per-view that was not one of the top 3 that would be off and low and behold…today, Tony Khan tweeted right around when Dynamite started that the match was off due to travel reasons, which sounds like a weird reason.”
For what it’s worth, Andrade sent out a tweet hinting that he may be looking to face a mystery opponent at the pay-per-view so that would mean that the issue is with PAC.
Presumably, AEW would still want to do something with Andrade on the show since Ric Flair said on Renee Paquette’s podcast that he planned on being backstage at the show so he could see Andrade wrestle.
