While Fightful Select initially reported that Former WWE star/TNA’s AJ Francis and Former WWE star Baron Corbin (Tom Pestock) were backstage at last night’s AEW Worlds End, it turns out they weren’t the only familiar faces who were there. Fightful reports that Tyler Breeze was also spotted at the show.
Fightul sources say he was simply visiting friends in the area. It makes sense to hear about wrestlers backstage at shows in Orlando since so many of them live in the area. After departing WWE in 2021, the 36-year-old took a two-year hiatus from in-ring competition before returning for about 20 independent matches between July 2023 and September 2024.
Those close to Breeze suggest that his ventures outside of wrestling have been very successful, allowing him the freedom to wrestle only when he chooses.
Additionally, Teal Piper, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper, was also at the show. Teal wrestled in the Casino Battle Royale at the first All Out in 2019. She wrestled on an episode of AEW Dark in 2023 and in the last few years, she’s wrestled on a handful of independent shows.
