Another AEW veteran is leaving the company.
Arn Anderson announced on his “ARN” podcast that he will be finishing up with AEW on May 31st when his contract expires. Arn thanked Tony Khan, Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross, the off-camera crew, and the talent.
Anderson first appeared on AEW TV at All Out on August 31, 2019 where he helped Cody Rhodes during a match against Shawn Spears. He went on to do some commentary on AEW Dark and then signed a contract in June 2020.
Anderson appeared with Cody and later with his son Brock. His on-air role lessened after Cody’s departure for WWE. His son Brock was removed from the company roster last October.
Arn Anderson says his AEW contract expires on May 31 and thanks Tony Khan.
