Backstage News On Britt Baker’s Expected AEW TV Return After Suspension

AEW fans won’t have to wait long to see Britt Baker back on television.

Baker has been in the headlines for several days due to her incident with MJF and his girlfriend/AEW on-screen talent Alicia Atout. The company’s disciplinary committee suspended Baker for one or two weeks and fined her for her actions at the July 17th Dynamite.

Baker allegedly called Atout a ‘Stupid f***ing b***’ because Alicia Atout informed MJF that Baker was berating him, talking crap about MJF and Will Ospreay. The incident happened right after MJF’s match with Ospreay.

The argument resulted in MJF punching a wall before his hour-long match. AEW reportedly didn’t suspend MJF because HR saw it as MJF defending Atout and didn’t feel it should be punishable.

PWInsider.com reported that Baker is expected to be back on TV tonight for Dynamite. The promotion has yet to confirm her for the show. She is still scheduled to challenge Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship at All In later this month.

In more positive news, Baker has landed a role in the Netflix series “Cobra Kai,” where she will reportedly play a “European fighter competing as part of a team in an international karate tournament.”
