Backstage news on who was responsible for booking this week’s AEW Dynamite

We have some backstage news to pass along regarding the booking of this week’s episode of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Dynamite.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there were a lot fo TNT executives in attendance for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. It was noted that they had no issues with Cody Rhodes bleeding during his Steel Cage match. The report also mentioned that Tony Khan was in charge of putting together the Tag Team Battle Royal match, with some input from The Young Bucks, BJ Whitmer, and QT Marshall.

Kenny Omega was behind the Kris Statlander match against Shanna, and his tag team match with Adam Page against the Lucha Brothers, where they retained their AEW World Tag Team Championships. Cody was behind his own Steel Cage match against Wardlow while AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, with some help from Dean Malenko, put together his segment with Jon Moxley.

Also, Khan made the decision to turn the lights out and have Darby Allin appear on stage and skateboard to the ring, before running wild with the skateboard.
