Angle At All In Writes Joe Off Television
At the All In pay-per-view, The Opps retained their Trios Titles over the Death Riders. Following the bout, Samoa Joe, who was part of the Death Riders faction, was the subject of a beatdown. According to reports, this was a planned angle to facilitate a brief hiatus for the former world champion.
Promotional Tour For ‘Twisted Metal’ Season 2
Joe is scheduled to miss some time from AEW programming as he is set to do promotional work for the upcoming new season of his Peacock television series, “Twisted Metal.” The new season is set to be released on July 31, and Joe is expected to be off of AEW television for at least a couple of weeks to handle his promotional duties.
In the “Twisted Metal” series, which is based on the classic video game franchise of the same name, Samoa Joe provides the physical performance for the iconic character Sweet Tooth. The menacing, ice cream truck-driving clown’s voice is provided by actor Will Arnett. The show’s second season is one of Peacock’s most expected releases of the summer.
