Bandido offered a full-time contract following his match on AEW Dynamite

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured the main event of Bandido making his promotional debut by challenging Chris Jericho for the ROH World Heavyweight Title.

Jericho successfully defended the strap for the first time against the former champion. Bandido had an impressive performance in the match as he was praised by fans online and those in attendance at the show.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Bandido was offered a full-time contract immediately after the match by AEW President Tony Khan. It’s still unclear whether he intends to sign the agreement.

Following Dynamite, fans shared videos on social media of Bandido giving Khan a massive hug after the bout. Khan excitedly praised Bandido on the microphone as well.

Bandido is a former PWG World Champion and Battle of Los Angeles winner. He has worked for several promotions including ROH, both CMLL and AAA in Mexico, as well as The Crash, and NJPW, among others.
